PCA Students Make Large Pride Flag in Support of Orlando

Some Students studying at Plymouth College of Art (PCA) were so incensed by Plymouth City Council’s decision not to fly the rainbow flag at half mast on Monday 13th June (the day after the massacre in Orlando) they decided to make one and fly it from the college. The Names & Ages of the 49 People Killed in Orlando

The names of all 49 people killed in the Pulse Nightclub massacre was read out at The Plymouth Stands With Orlando Vigil held on Wednesday 15th June 2016. Big Day Wedding Show February 2016

On Sunday 28th February 2016 Pride in Plymouth teamed up with House Of Fraiser and Plymouth Pavilions supporting the main catwalk show. Our volunteers were given the opportunity to strut their stuff on the Catwalk to ensure same sex couples and trans people were included in the program. We coordinated 7 couples to take part ensuring there was maximum diversity across age and gender. All participating volunteers had a great day, meeting new people and doing something different boosting their confidence.
