On Sunday 28th February 2016 Pride in Plymouth teamed up with House Of Fraiser and Plymouth Pavilions supporting the main catwalk show.
Our volunteers were given the opportunity to strut their stuff on the Catwalk to ensure same sex couples and trans people were included in the program. We coordinated 7 couples to take part ensuring there was maximum diversity across age and gender. All participating volunteers had a great day, meeting new people and doing something different boosting their confidence.
We also had a stall at the show staffed by more volunteers who were able to build links and contacts with the other exhibitors including wedding venues and services many of which expressed an interest in promoting their brand through our wedding directory aimed at same sex couples and trans people.
