After parties are an important and integral part of the Plymouth Pride Festival and offer a boost to the night economy. On this page we will promote the ‘official events’ that support and contribute to us. New for 2018 we have teamed up with Plymouth Boat Trips to offer ‘A Carnival Night Cruise’ departing from the Barbican Landing Stage at 9pm on Saturday 11th August. It’s Carnival time on board
The Award Winning Plymouth Pride Festival and Parade returns to the city for 2018 on Saturday 11th August.
This year the parade will depart from the city centre, at North Cross roundabout, and then make its way up through Armarda Way – providing a fabulous colourful display of LGBT+ diversity – before arriving at Plymouth Hoe for the event opening, at 1pm.
A packed stage of performers will then entertain the audience for the next eight hours and the festival will include a wide selection of stalls, information stands, a street food market, face painting and some surprises to be announced in the run up to the big day.
TransZone facilitated by Not Alone Plymouth will be back with a safe space providing information, and advice for transgender, non-binary people and their families.
If you would like to be a sponsor of the event, a volunteer or if you are interested in applying to have a stall on the day then please CONTACT US
